Key Provisions
Wages
Minimum wages extended to ALL workers (organised + unorganised). Equal pay for equal work. Floor wage by Centre.
Industrial Relations
Lay-off threshold: 100 → 300 workers. Re-Skilling Fund (15 days' wages). Trade Union with 51% membership = sole Negotiating Union. WFH permitted in services.
Social Security
Extended to gig & platform workers (first time). Aggregators contribute 1-2% of turnover to social security fund. Gratuity after 1 year.
OSH&WC
Mandatory appointment letters for all. Women allowed night shifts with consent. Working hours capped at 8 hrs/day.
